Austin’s career at Govig & Associates began in August of 2003, shortly following his graduation from ASU with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Originally from Nebraska, Austin brings with him a strong Midwestern work ethic coupled with years of sales and management experience. In his first full year at
Govig (2004), Austin received Pacesetter recognition, an award given to roughly the top 10% of all recruiters nationwide. Austin was the youngest individual to achieve this designation in the Scottsdale division’s 27-year history.
Austin’s primary focuses are in commercial and residential construction in the Phoenix and Tucson markets. Within these markets, Austin places individuals of all backgrounds from administrative to C-level. Austin seeks to identify mutually beneficial relationships between clients and candidates, and cultivates these matches by placing his emphasis on long-term cultural fits. Austin views his interactions with both clients and candidates as long-term relationships, rather than one-time transactions.
In his (limited) spare time Austin enjoys music, hiking and golfing (poorly).
