Bette brings over twenty-five years of business development
experience to her role as VP - Physician Recruitment for Govig
BioPharma. Her area of specialization is working on
Engaged Searches with Physicians on Executive Level positions
within the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry.
Bette holds a Masters degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
where she did her thesis on a new class of peptide blocking
agents. She is also a graduate of Wharton's Management
program. During her career she has held positions of
increasing responsibility in diverse industries including an
assignment as the Business Development Manager for a biotech
endeavor developing avidin-biotin affinity chromatography
technology.
Her business philosophy is to create long-term
relationships rather than transactional ones with candidates
and clients. Her client focus is with exciting companies
that have a great story to tell and ones that value
individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. Her
candidate focus is to interact with individuals that have a
clearly defined career plan or those that have a sincere
interest in developing one during their professional career.
